However at this point we live in a time of abundance of information: all kinds of information sources are screaming for our attention. The added value of the news industry moves from content creation to content aggregation and curation. Right there media groups are getting unexpected competition from app makers – such as Flipboard – who offer a superior experience and relevant and personalized information.
